As for Marnie&#039;s comments about Alberta, I would say the bad news is being felt more intensely here in Ontario, as the provinces manufacturing sector takes a big hit. I&#039;m sure the structural differences between ONtario and Alberta have something to do with the difference in &quot;news flow.&quot;</description>

		<description>Let me get this straight: these terrible, Earth-shaking unemployment numbers were last seen less than three years ago?  I don&#039;t remember lineups around the block for soup kitchens three years ago.

I&#039;m not saying times aren&#039;t tough, but to say that the unemployment rate is the highest it has been in three years is not terribly impressive on its own.</description>
