EnCana Corp.’s shallow gas infill development project in the Canadian Forces Base Suffield National Wildlife Area in Alberta has hit a snag. The Joint Panel reviewing the oil and gas company’s plans to drill three wells decided that “certain key requirements must be met before the proposed project or a variation of it could proceed.” Here’s the full report, which goes into detail about those requirements.

How can they be drilling wells in a National Wildlife Area? Is the entire govt being paid off by oil or does our country just suck really bad now?
